Artistic Card Box for Wbooks
WBOOKS wants to draw attention to Dutch art history with a special collection of postcards. Instead of a traditional postcard display, they want a presentation format that has more impact, both in terms of concept and form.
Artworks are typically depicted on postcards without frames, whereas in museums they are often presented in frames. This difference forms the basis of the concept.
The postcards are packaged in a pop-up box. This box serves not only as packaging but at the same time as a display. Users can easily select their favourite card and slide it into the holder. The box lid can be propped upright, allowing the chosen image to be prominently displayed like a small piece of art.
In this way, the collection of individual cards forms a cohesive whole. At the same time, there’s room to highlight your personal favourites. This combination makes it possible to bring Dutch art history into your home in an accessible and dynamic way.
